Layo Group at Intertextile Shanghai: Exploring FW Fabric Trends for Overseas Brands

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Fair has recently concluded. The Layo Group team attended the fair in-person to source fabrics, yarns and print concepts for Fall-Winter collections, researching innovative materials and sustainable textile solutions to inspire new product lines for our overseas clients.

As Asia-Pacific’s leading textile fair, it gathers numerous fabric suppliers covering woven, knit, functional outdoor textiles, recycled materials, new-generation yarns and print designs. Our team inspected physical swatches, evaluated hand-feel, fabric weight, colour fastness, mass-production feasibility, lead-time and cost, short-listing qualified fabric options compliant with European and American market standards.

Our commercial and technical teams held face-to-face discussions with multiple fabric mills. Topics covered GRS recycled textiles, OEKO-TEX certified materials, wrinkle-resistant functional fabrics and innovative printing techniques. We confirmed sampling parameters, small-batch trial order terms and bulk production lead-times.

Overseas brands are increasingly demanding sustainable materials, textured fabrics and flexible low-MOQ production for Fall-Winter ranges. Insights gathered from the show will feed directly into our ODM development workflow, shortening product development cycles and accelerating seasonal collection updates for brand partners.
